low budget hotel with very helpful and pleasant staff and exceptionally good views over the lake. a decent size room, nice beds. a wide range of goodies for breakfast. fabulous base for exploring san pedro la laguna.

For the price, Hotel Peneleu in Guatemala was a great deal. The rooms were clean and well-equipped with everything you need, including decent wifi, soap, towels, and hot water. The view of the lake from the lake view rooms was amazing. The location was convenient, not too far away from everything but situated on a quiet street. The staff was friendly and helpful, and I really enjoyed relaxing in the hammocks and chairs outside. The top floor was a perfect spot to watch the sunrise or sunset.

The breakfast selection could be better.

The view from our room was absolutely breathtaking. We had our own private sitting area with a hammock, which was perfect for enjoying the stunning scenery. We also loved the fact that the hotel was very affordable, offering great value for our money.

Compared to other places we've stayed in Antigua and Atitlan, it was a great find. the owner was friendly and helpful, allowing us to choose our preferred room. the hammock outside our room was a nice touch, and the provided towels and soap were unexpected bonuses. the location was perfect , away from the main noisy area, but still within a short walk. the balcony offered a beautiful view of the surroundings. the kitchen was also clean and well, equipped. it was a great value stay that we would choose again. Cons: Nothing , it was perfect! ✨.
